| How Invasion StartedThis faction was first created on February 3rd under the name Prophesy by a level 20 blademaster, Euryu. When he asked his real-life girlfriend (who just started playing and was a level 10 venomancer), Kohlyka, about the name, she pointed out that he had spelled it wrong (Phophesy vs Prophecy), he disbanded the faction and started a new one with the help of an extra 10,000 coins by his early barbarian friend, ShirKhan. The second faction started by Euryu was called Invasion.Upgrading InvasionEuryu recruited members and Invasion grew like the plague. The first player to join Invasion was called Zonric, a male blademaster in his level 20's, followed closely by a similar level venomancer, Feap. Kohlyka was around the fifth player to join. In less than two weeks, Invasion's 50-member limit was approaching and Euryu and Kohlyka worked to find the inactive players to banish to keep from reaching 50 players so there would always be room for new, active players in the faction. It was decided best that we'd ask members of Invasion to donate a maximum amount of 100,000 coins to the cause - update Invasion to level two, which was 2,000,000 coins. As you can see here, there were nine members who thoughtfully donated and Invasion was upgraded to level two on February 16.
Euryu, the great recruiter that he is, once again filled more member positions since the upgrade. Becoming level 2 allowed Invasion 50 more members. It was also during this time we had acquired popular members such as DirtyDirk, Lilykindlove (sp?), Ravamia, etc. Once again, Invasion made the goal to upgrade to a level three faction. However, to upgrade it, it required 10,000,000 coins. Invasion achieved that goal on March 10, and you can view those who donated here. DirtyDirk was a very rich barbarian and gave Euryu 7,500,000 coins for the donation. This action fed a later dispute.Invasion's First FallIt was the beginning the times where the begining players who joined Invasion in their lv20's (the first generations) were leveling into their 40's and 50's. One of the players, Feap (a rich venomancer with the best mounts, pets, fashion, etc.), paid for a Ventrilo server (Ventrilo, commonly known as vent, is a program in which can be downloaded and used to talk to other people across the internet via microphones. Widely used when playing the game for easy communication when in an instance or boss-killing). This new addition to Invasion quickly created a large divide among the faction: vent users and non-vent users. People who downloaded vent wouldn't type in faction chat anymore because they were busy talking and all the while would not meet the newer members or those who simply didn't want to and did not download vent. This created two very large cliques.
As soon as people in faction chat would ask for help, nobody of a higher level would respond except for respected players such as Vindz or Windsaber. The rest would simply ignore because they're busy listening to the people on vent rather than reading the chats. After an unknown argument (it is unknown because neither Euryu nor Kohlyka were online when it happened and nobody from the opposing side will describe what happened), all four of Invasion's Marshals, several Executors, and numerous members left the faction. Once Euryu logged on and found the faction a mess within four hours, he quickly whispered Zonric (with which Zonric conveniently took screenshots of their conversation). His reasoning of leaving the faction was because of the disrespect he had gotten from members such as Windsaber and /\mp (Wind is the type of person who just does what he does, no hurt intended, while Ampy was the type of person who would tease you about something and then forget to laugh about it afterward, in which would make you think he's being serious - and Zonric apparently thought so too). Many of the members (those who used vent) left the faction left to join DirtyDirk's faction called DirtyToy. Other members left the faction because they were sick of the vent group's disrespect to the faction as a whole and that vent group appeared to regard themselves as higher beings. The vent group consisted of the following players (not in any specific order): DirtyDirk (Lilykindlove's Husband), Feap (Zonric's Wife), Zonric (Feap's Husband), Ravamia, Lilykindlove (sp? and DirtyDirk's Wife), SoulKun, Vestakya, and several other forgotten names. The group of people who also left due to the vent group consisted of the following players (not in any specific order): Wu_Feng, aiyumie, Nitto (faction hopper anyway), Necroma, and several other forgotten names. The Fight AfterwardThe members of DirtyToy did not have straight stories (or even similar ones) as to why they all left the faction. Some would claim that it was because of the fight between Euryu and Zonric, and that they sided with Zonric. Some would even say that it was because Kohlyka was a liar (lied about what? They never revealed what she "lied" about). They also accused Euryu of stealing the money from DirtyDirk or that Invasion didn't appreciate his donation (whoever accused Euryu of that probably didn't know the definition of "donation"). Even one time it was said because Kohlyka brought up DirtyDirk's son into the fight. The second time, it was said because she brought up Zonric's son into the fight. The second time (about Zonric's son), was only partially true. Right after everybody left the faction, Zonric ruthlessly spammed the Invasion forums. Feap and Ravamia changed all of the pictures on their photobucket accounts to "Eff You" and "You Suck" images (they were later removed due to photobucket's rules and regulations about obscene photos). However, Kohlyka did keep ONE copy of Zonric's spam and edited it with her responses (click here to view Zonric's spam and that recorded fight between Euryu and Zonric). It was when Zonric said, "Now yes three is just because I would like you to know... “You can NOT stop the ZoN!! Muahaha!” " and Kohlyka responded, "Don't worry, you don't intimidate me. Though, it still makes me ponder why a 22-year old man is stalking an 18-year old girl's forums... especially when he has an infant son to take care of" " That was the only thing Kohlyka said pertaining to anybody's kid. It was wrong for her to say it, but in her defense, she wanted to hurt Zonric's feelings to make him stop spamming... in which she succeeded, but that also brought her down to his level for that brief period.
But the question still stands as to why these people from DirtyToy hated Kohlyka prior to the fight and prior to the forum spamming. No real proof was ever given as to why they hated gulan, Windsaber, or Kohlyka. They only used what Kohlyka said about Zonric's child as a reason to be mad at her... but that was when they were already mad at her. As for gulan, he was just your run-of-the-mill accidental kill-stealer from Vestakya... which doesn't make sense if he was in squad with her. And Windsaber? That was because he must've been "disrespectful" (no proof there either)... or was it because he had such a great friend like Euryu who defended him? For as much information as Zonric's chat with Euryu shows, Zonric never explained his true reasons... or was it because he didn't have any? Just some advice (take it or leave it): stay away from these people... they enjoy starting arguments and fights.TransitioningIt finally ended when Zonric stopped spamming the forums. DirtyToy left us alone and the faction had no officials other than Leader, Director, maybe five Executors, and some Members. Euryu recruited again (with some help this time), and Invasion collected some new, respected players._________________ New Siggy Soon

| Invasion's Second FallAmong the new members were Jorodos and DiceReaper. Those two members had personalities that clashed horribly and neither could get along with each other. It was so bad that they wouldn't even stand being in the same squad together. Both of them had plenty of similar friends within the faction. One day, their arguing had gotten extremely bad, beyond Kohlyka's control. Euryu decided that in order to keep the peace within Invasion, either Dice or Joro had to go. Unable and unwilling to make the decision by himself, he whispered friends from both sides (sometimes they were a friend to both), to whom would be a better choice to banish from the faction. The vote's result was that Joro was the one to be banished. Euryu whispered Joro also and had asked for his opinion, whether he could get along with Dice or would he rather be banished like the vote. To Euryu, Joro said, "I DON'T CARE" and with that hurting Euryu's feelings, he felt it was best for Invasion that Jorodos was banished. It was plain that Jorodos was not planning on getting along with Dice and vice-versa.
Another contribution to this downfall (or at least people's reasoning for leaving the faction), was because Euryu was not as active as he used to be. He spent more time offline than managing his faction. One member, Edoc, was our only barbarian, level 66 at the time, who was able to tank anything (all the other barbarians were inactive or less than level 44). Power-hungry, he was, once he felt that he caught up to Euryu in level, he decided he wanted to make his own faction, NewDawn. As for the basis of his faction, he recruited members from Invasion, such as two of our Marshals, several executors, and a few members as well. It was also during this time that Flavored, another one of our members, left Invasion to start a faction (called Guards) as well, and Nitto from Invasion was promised to go with. With many of our higher level players gone, only a few remain to help those who remained in the faction. The RebuildInvasion has collected new members once again. Many have went on vacation during the summer heat and many more will return with promising intentions. Invasion did not and will not fall completely. The Future in the FallThe members know that Invasion's Director, Kohlyka, will not be active after July 13th due to moving away to college. As soon as she gets a laptop and PWI downloaded/installed, she will return as soon as possible. However, not many know that Euryu will be moving on to college as well in October. At that time, he will most likely stop playing... forever (or at least those are his intentions now). When the time comes, Kohlyka has asked to take his position as the Leader of Invasion. As of then, a change to Invasion will be made. It being mentioned now so that the faction is not surprised by the change when it comes.
The faction will only recruit players level 50+. This does not pertain to the members already in the faction, for they will surely level up by then. If new player's levels have not changed since they joined the faction and they are less than level 50 by October, they will most likely be banished (for it will prove they are inactive). This change is to reduce the amount of complaints from higher level players and lower levels players requesting help for normal grinding quests. This will also bring the players into a closer level community where the players will be more helpful and closer in level to help one another. Twilight Temple runs will be more frequent since there will be more players available for them.
If you are worried about doing lower level Call of Duty quests and bosses, then Invasion will have a chat room set up In-Game to help non-member players.
Territory Wars is still not going to happen for Invasion (unless everybody in the faction is lv90+ and all willing to help donate to the TW funds), but if that addition of the Faction Wars (assuming its a free ass-whooping), then it is possible Invasion will participate. Do not assume that this is what will happen. Euryu has NOT confirmed that he will be leaving entirely in October or that Kohlyka will become the Leader. However, if it is so... this is what is to be expected. Please and thank you._________________ New Siggy Soon |
